Hello and thanks for stopping to take a look at Northumberland Hills Home Inspection. A little about me, I have lived in Northumberland County my whole life and am raising my 2 sons Finn 12 & Luke 6yrs old along with my wife Tracy here.

Like many people out there our lives have changed because of Covid & I decided it was time to try something different that I've been thinking about for a few years. Over the years I've had a few friends ask me to look houses over because of my knowledge, that they were thinking about possibly purchasing.

I have been around the construction industry most of my life. from growing up working for my father in the electrical business and along the way working with many builders and trades people, picking up a lot of information about all of the other trades. Recently I've been working maintenance at a factory looking after building and machine maintenance.

So when Covid hit I decided it was time to enroll in a home inspection training course. I looked around and found many courses that I could take some that only taught the bare minimum and some that were very involved and accredited. From doing my research I decided to go with the Carson Dunlop School of home inspection that many say is the best and most recognized one out there. The colleges that teach home inspection courses also teach using Carson Dunlop material.

I'm hoping that I can build my business up enough that by the time I decide to retire that one or both of my boys will have followed me into the business and will take the business over.
